Program Eligibility Criteria | Youth Entrepreneur Bootcamp (YEB)

The Youth Entrepreneur Bootcamp (YEB) is an initiative designed to support aspiring leaders and emerging innovators in transforming viable business concepts into sustainable enterprises.

1. Geographic Scope

To be eligible for this cohort, candidates must reside in or operate their proposed enterprise within one of the following target regions:

• Sulaymaniyah
• Halabja
• Kalar
• Chamchamal
• Ranya

2. Target Profile

• National Demographic: The program targets young Iraqi innovators and entrepreneurs seeking to establish or develop market-ready solutions.
• Applicant Mindset: Candidates must demonstrate strong leadership potential, analytical thinking, and a commitment to addressing socio-economic challenges within their communities.

3. Venture Stage & Eligible Sectors

The initiative adopts a multi-sector approach and accepts projects at various early development stages.

• Venture Maturity: Open to early-stage business ideas, conceptual frameworks, and early prototypes.
• Focus Areas: Submissions are open to all major industries, including but not limited to:
  • Agriculture & Farming
  • Health Technology
  • Environmental Sustainability
  • Food & Beverage
  • Tourism & Hospitality
  • Information & Educational Technology
  • Fashion, Design, Automotive, and Related Sectors

4. Participation Commitment

Successful candidates are expected to actively participate in all mandatory program components:

• Virtual Masterclasses: Online modules focusing on Lean Startup methodologies and the Business Model Canvas.
• In-Person Workshops: Applied, hands-on training sessions focused on operational development.
• Mentorship & Pitch Preparation: A 20-day intensive review period featuring specialized advisory support to prepare participants for investor engagement.
